VFW Post 805 is excited to announce the Thirteenth Annual 0.1K Fun Run, benefiting military members, veterans, and their families. This event will be held on Saturday, April 18, 2026. Our Post continues to answer the call and has been consistently recognized as both an All-State and All-American VFW Post for many years. The Outstanding Community Post designation to our post is awarded to only 61 VFW Posts out of more than 6,000 worldwide each year. This year, the post has stepped up for local veterans with personal needs, assisted Scott Air Force Base with the acquisition and storage of food for our Airmen and workers who live on base, provided advocacy for veterans, participated in Veterans Assistance Commission, facilitated educational seminars to veterans and community members, and in general, offered assistance and guidance to our active duty and veterans in need. With your help, we can continue our tradition of providing the highest level of support to veterans and our community. There are several ways you can support our event, as outlined in the attached materials. If you are unable to participate in the DIAMOND, PLATINUM, or GOLD sponsorship levels, please feel free to contact me so we can discuss alternative ways to support the event.
